Vice President - andyluu@hawaii.edu

Hello! My name is Andy Luu and I am a Senior in my last semester at UH Manoa pursuing a B.A. in Psychology. In addition to the Psychology degree I have minors in Music, Theater and Education. I was born in San Jose, California, but moved to Hawaii when I was five and have been here ever since. I am involved with extra curriculars such as the UH Manoa Marching Band and Colorguard where I served as one of the saxophone section leaders. I also play in many concert ensembles and sang in the concert choir at UH as well. If anyone is interested in getting involved within the music department hit me up! This will be my fourth and last semester in Psi Sigma and I will be serving as your Vice-President for this final semester. I currently serve as a CSDC Peer Fellow for this academic year. I am also a 2020 TFA LA Corp Member so if anyone wants to know about Teach for America hit me up! I love meeting new people and talking story so don’t be afraid to hit me up. Shootz! \m/

Aloha everyone! Welcome to (or welcome back to) Psi Sigma! My name is Geneva Dela Cruz and I will be serving you all as the Director of Online Operations. I am from the beautiful island of Kauai and am majoring in BS Psychology and Biology. I hope to one day become a Pediatrician! I am also the Public Relations Liaison of the Atherton YMCA (so let me know if you’re looking for any community service opportunities!) I’ve been in Psi Sigma since my first semester of college and have been in it ever since! It’s a great place to make friends, learn about classes offered here, and find psychology opportunities! I really enjoy hiking, sightseeing, and hammocking. I look forward to having fun with all of y’all this semester! See you soon!

Executive Society Historian - kogata20@hawaii.edu

Hey all! My name is Kim and I’m a senior here at UH Manoa pursuing (and hopefully soon graduating with) a B.A. in Psychology! I was born in China but raised here in Kailua, HI for basically my entire life. My favorite part of psychology is learning about the brain and all the biological mechanisms that make it work. In the future, I hope to actually switch gears and get a Masters in Education to work in student affairs for higher education. This will be my third semester as a Psi Sigma officer and my second semester as the Executive Society Historian! I hope to see y’all at all the great events our other officers and team members will be organizing!

Director of Public Relations - brycentk@hawaii.edu

Hello everyone! My name is Brycen Kawakami-Tabios. I'm currently a third-year student here at UH Mānoa double majoring in Psychology and Communicology. I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. As of now, I don't really know what I want to do in the future. I'm studying Psychology because I find the material interesting, relatable, and engaging. I love Psi Sigma because it has helped me broaden my horizons and explore the options available to me as a Psychology major. Plus, everyone is just so nice! My hobbies include watching YouTube videos, hiking, and taking picture. I'm really looking forward to this semester with all of you! Iʻm hoping to help make this year an unforgettable one."   .

Hi everyone I’m Sidney! I am a freshman here pursuing a B.A. in psych and thinking about getting a certificate in Spanish. I am from Sacramento California, and am loving Hawaiian winters. I am not quite sure what I want to do with my Psych degree but I think I want to become either a counselor whether it be a MFT counselor or school counselor I’m not sure. Other possibilities I’m thinking about is teaching, law, or maybe even social work. I am serving as the Community service team member and am excited to help Darcie plan the community service events this term. Thanks!

Hi, my name is Jennie and I am a sophomore here at UH Manoa. I am currently pursuing a B.A in Psychology and a minor in communicology. I am originally from Vancouver, BC, but have been living here in Hawaii for about 6 years now. I love learning about communicating as well as the social aspect of psychology and hope to become a speech pathologist one day. This will be my first semester serving as a Psi sigma officer and my second semester as a member. I am excited to begin this semester and to start working/meeting everyone!

Director of Social Events - mrabara@hawaii.edu

Greetings! My name is Michael Rabara and I serve as the Director of Social Operations for Psi Sigma! I was born and raised on the island of Maui and have been attending UH Manoa since Fall 2016. This is my fourth year here at UH Manoa and I will be graduating with my degree in psychology this Spring 2020. I am unsure of what I want to do after college, however, I have this growing interest in becoming a Registered Behavioral Technician. Psi Sigma has done me many wonders, including creating friendships with other psychology majors, getting to know the psychology department at UH Manoa, and bringing the extrovert out of me. In my free time I like to go to the gym, go running to who knows where, exploring the island, and napping. This is my third and unfortunately last semester at UH Manoa. I will do my best to not only serve as your Director of Social Operations, but make sure that this semester is one you will not forget!
