Psi Sigma: The Psychology Connection is the first social club for psychology majors at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Psi Sigma was created by Victoria Chang in September 2014. We encourage the pursuit of psychological science, foster enduring connections among peers in psychology, and advance the academic and professional development of our members. Psi Sigma upholds the values of knowledge, benevolence, and integrity.
Psi (ψ) Sigma (σ) is derived from the first letter of the Greek words "connection" and "psychology." Our purpose is to serve as the connection among psychology students by facilitating social interaction and psychology discussion. We provide opportunities for collegiate and community engagement, graduate school or career preparation, and application of psychology knowledge in social events. Psi Sigma is a club made by Psychology peers for Psychology peers. For the Lobe of Psychology, come join us!
